What a month it has been!
Huge thanks to everyone who tried our product! We are so excited to see all the creations from this amazing community.
And we’ve been listening. Based on your feedback, we’ve made some big updates to Jams to make it even easier and more fun to create conversational videos. Our goal has always been to help people share their thoughts effortlessly, and now, the process is smoother than ever.
So what’s new?
😍 Simpler to use – We’ve cleaned up the app and stripped away anything that felt clunky or confusing. Now, getting started is effortless. Just open the app, invite someone, and give them a call!
We’ve removed the ability to “jam” alone in this release 😱. But worry not, our next release will bring this back with a surprise new feature to make the single-user experience more intuitive and powerful.
📤 Elevated guest experience – We’ve added several improvements for a smooth and seamless experience for the friend you want to jam with. They click on the link, download the app, and hop on the call. We make sure that you remain informed as they click the link and join. 🤝
🎬 No worries about recording – Some Jams users told us that it felt so natural to start chatting that they forgot to press the record button! Now, you just get on the call and Jams automatically captures the footage. That way, you can focus on the conversation and let Jams take care of the rest.
🤖 Improved prompt-based clip generation and automated summaries – One of the most used feature was to give a prompt to get the right clips from the video. We made several improvements to make it more accurate and complete. We’ve also added clip summaries so you can quickly find the right clips to share.
🫧 A fresh, clean look – The app got a visual upgrade! It’s more intuitive, more polished, more delightful (if we may say so ourselves 😉).
